A new family-owned restaurant specializing in Mediterranean and Turkish dishes will join Merriman’s Honolulu as a restaurant tenant in Anaha, a mixed-use condominium tower in Kakaako.
The restaurant, called Istanbul, is expected to open in 2019. It got its start as a venue at Hawaii farmers markets, and specializes in locally sourced meats, vegetables and herbs.
The Howard Hughes building will also be home to the new location for at Dawn, a clothing store that recently closed its Kapiolani location to move to Kakaako. It is expected to open its new space this month.
